Abraham’s offspring
(亚伯拉罕的子孙) Rom4:9-16

a. Who is to be blessed?(谁可以得福呢？)(vv.9-12)

Q: Is circumcision necessary to be righteous?(称义要受割礼吗？)
Q: When was Abraham counted as righteousness?(何时亚伯拉罕被称义？)
Q: What is circumcision for?(割礼的功用？)
By faith anyone can become the children of God; circumcision is the seal to that faith.（成为神的儿女是借着信，割礼是这个信的印证）
Ref: James(雅各)2:20-24
We are saved by faith; good deeds is the seal to our salvation. （得救是因着信，善行是得救的印记。）
Inwardly faith(内在的信心) = outwardly good deeds(外在的善行)

How did Abraham attend the promise?（亚伯拉罕怎样得到应许？）(v.13)
Why is it that the inheritance cannot be realized by law keeping? (守律法为何不能得到产亚呢？)
V16, who is Abraham’s offspring? （谁是亚伯拉罕的子孙）
And how did they gain their inheritance?（他们怎样得到产业呢？）
　

Conclusion,

The inheritance is available to both believing Jews and Gentiles.（产业是给相信的人，犹太人和外邦人）
Only by God’s grace, believing Christians share the same faith of Abraham’s. (唯独借神的恩典，相信的基督徒可以和亚伯拉罕有同样的信心。)
Only the changed life can become a seal which proves we are truly saved.
(唯独被改变生命可以印证我们是真正得救的。)
