Dead to sin, Alive in Christ
(向罪死，在基督复活)
Rom6:1-14

Intro.

a. What’s your mission in life?(什么是你人生的使命？)
b. Flow of Romans until now(罗马书到目前的思路)

1:18-3:20 All need for righteousness (Jews and Gentiles are all sinners) (皆需要称义；犹太人和外邦人皆是罪人。)
3:21-5:21 God provides for our redemption (Justification by faith) (神提供给我们救赎；因信称义)
Ch.6-8 Talking about the way of sanctification (Growth to maturity) (谈到成圣之路，成长直到成熟。)
ch.6 freedom from sin’s tyranny(丛罪的专制中得自由)
ch.7 freedom from the law’s condemnation(从律法的处罚中得自由)
ch.8 life in the power of the Holy Spirit(在圣灵力量下的生活)
　

c. Through failures, we keep on going forward(虽然失败，仍要往前行)
We are God’s children; we are to live out as God’s children (我们是神的儿女，我们要活出那生命。)

1. Why we are not to remain in sin?(为何不能活在罪中呢？)(vv1-5)
   How do you know you died to the power of sin?
   (你如何知道你不再罪的权势呢？)
   Faith in Christ through baptism(藉着洗礼，表明对基督的信靠。)
   Who can be baptized?(谁可以受洗？)
   What will be the result after you have been baptized?(受洗后的结果？) 4b. Believers should walk in the newness of life.

2. One spiritual truth(一个属灵的真理)(vv6-10)
   Gal.(加拉太) 2:20；Believers are to die with Christ and live with Christ(信徒要与主同死同复活)。

3. New challenge, new lifestyle(新的挑战，新的生活)(vv11-14) How are you changed in Christ?(在基督里，你是如何被改变？)

a. v.11, a fact(事实) die to the power of sin(对罪死) alive to the power of God in Christ Jesus(向神活)

b. v12-13, a change(改变) not let sin rule your bodies(不容罪在你身上做王)

c. v14, an action(行动) sin is not our master; the reason and the action(罪不是我们的王；理由和行动。) ref: Titus(提多)2:11-12
　

Conclusion,

1. Why so many people are not interested in Christianity, and sometimes even despise Christians? (为何许多的人对基督教不感兴趣，甚至轻视基督徒呢？) Because many so called Christians are not changed but God, still live in their old selves. They do not have power to overcome the sin and also the temptations of the world. (因为许多自称基督徒的没有被神改变，仍活在老我中；他们没有能力胜过罪和来自世界的试探。)

2. Our needs to put on the new self. (我们需要穿上新人)
   Gal(加拉太)4:19 Christ is to formed in you(基督成形在你们心里)

3. Our lives should center on Christ.(生活以基督为中心)
