Power of God’s love

Romans 8:31-39

Intro:

Q: Why do some people commit suicide to end their lives? (为何有人会以自杀来结束自己的生命呢？)
Finding no true meaning in lives. (找不到人生的真正目的。)
No one loved them. (没有人爱他们。)
Cannot overcome their weaknesses. (不能胜过他们的软弱。)

Q: What is the difference between knowledge and wisdom?(知识和智能有何分别呢？)

  Cf.：(Pro. 9:10); (1Cor. 8:1b)

We need to turn to God, who is the source of everything.(我们需要归向神，他是一切的根源。)

1.  No condemnation(不再定罪)(vv.31-34)
   Q: Why is there no condemnation for Christians? At least 3 reasons.(为何基督徒不再定罪呢？)  至少有3个理由

   • God is for us(神帮助我们);

   • Jesus died for us(耶稣为我们死);

   • Jesus prays for us(耶稣为我们祷告)

   　

   Q:What will be the good result of no condemnation?(没有定罪，好结果为何？)V32, graciously giving us everything(将万物白白赐给我们。)

   Example: Esther keeps two cars for her friends while they are on vocation; so she can freely drive their car at the same time.

2. No separation(不再分离)(vv.35-39)
   Q：Do Christians meet difficulties and temptation?(基督徒会不会遇见困难和试探呢？)
   Q：How do you overcome?你如何胜过呢？v37

Conclusions,

1.  People in the world are looking for the power to overcome many problems in this lives. ( 世人一直在找能力克服人生种种的困难。)

2. Christians already have God’s love and they are accepted by God so that they can accept themselves. (基督徒已经有了神的爱，被神接纳了，也能接纳自己了。)
   There are two goals for Christians: become nearer to God; and proclaim His great love.(基督徒一生有2个目标：更加亲近神，和传扬神的大爱。)

May we be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power. (cf: Eph. 6:10)(愿我们靠神的大能大力，作刚强的人。)(参照以弗所. 6:10)
