怜悯公义的神
(A merciful and righteous God)
Rom. 9:14-23

Intro.

1.  God’s role(神的角色):  Creator, Savior, and judge(创造者，救世主，审判者)

2. How is a man saved?(人如何得救呢？)  By God’s grace(藉着神的恩典)

a. God’s righteousness(神的公义)(vv14-18)

1.  V14,  ref 3:5-6。 Psalm(诗篇)62:12；Proverbs(箴言)24:12
   Psalm 89:14, Righteousness and justice are the foundation of your throne(公义和公平是你宝座的根基);
   love and faithfulness go before you(慈爱和诚实实行在你面前).

2.  Moses’ example(摩西之例)(vv15-16)
   Ref: Exodus 33:19; After golden calf rebellion, Moses pleaded with God(金牛犊背叛，摩西向神祈求).
   V16, God’s mercy is powerful than man’s desire and effort(神的怜悯比人的定意和人的奔跑有力量)
   It magnifies the mercy of God beyond his justice(这显出神的怜悯大大在他的公义之外。)

3. Pharaoh’s example(法老之例)(vv17-18)
   V17 is from Ex 9:15-17.
   Function of God’s word(神话语的功能)：v18
   God is not only just, He is merciful and just.(神不只是公义，他是怜悯加上公义。)
   Psalm 103:8-13

b. God’s freedom(神的自由)(vv19-23)

Freedom of God(神的自由)(v19-21)
God is Creator and men are His creation(神是创造者而人是被造的)
Daniel(但以理) 4:34-35;   Job(约伯)42:2

Man’s responsibility(人的责任)(v22-23)
Is man’s destiny predetermined?(人的命运是否被定好的呢？)

Conclusion,

God is our creator; He will judge us according to what we will do in this lives.(神是创造者，他会照我们今生所行的来审判我们。)
God is just because He can not disown Himself.(神是公义的因他不能背乎自己。)    
But He is also full of love. (但他也充满爱。)
Cross is God’s plan to save people in order that His just and love will be satisfied at the same time.(十字架是神救赎的计划，让他的公义和他的爱可以同时得到满足。)
By grace we are saved; by our actions we will be judged and receive our rewards. (因者恩典我们得救，但因者我们的行为要被审判,得奖赏。)
