Abraham’s offspring
(亞伯拉罕的子孫) Rom4:9-16

a. Who is to be blessed?(誰可以得福呢？)(vv.9-12)

Q: Is circumcision necessary to be righteous?(稱義要受割禮嗎？)
Q: When was Abraham counted as righteousness?(何時亞伯拉罕被稱義？)
Q: What is circumcision for?(割禮的功用？)
By faith anyone can become the children of God; circumcision is the seal to that faith.（成為神的兒女是借著信，割禮是這個信的印證）
Ref: James(雅各)2:20-24
We are saved by faith; good deeds is the seal to our salvation. （得救是因著信，善行是得救的印記。）
Inwardly faith(內在的信心) = outwardly good deeds(外在的善行)
　

b. Who is Abraham’s offspring?( 誰是亞伯拉罕的子孫)(vv.13-16)

How did Abraham attend the promise?（亞伯拉罕怎樣得到應許？）(v.13)
Why is it that the inheritance cannot be realized by law keeping? (守律法為何不能得到產亞呢？)
V16, who is Abraham’s offspring? （誰是亞伯拉罕的子孫）
And how did they gain their inheritance?（他們怎樣得到產業呢？）
　

Conclusion,

The inheritance is available to both believing Jews and Gentiles.（產業是給相信的人，猶太人和外邦人）
Only by God’s grace, believing Christians share the same faith of Abraham’s. (唯獨借神的恩典，相信的基督徒可以和亞伯拉罕有同樣的信心。)
Only the changed life can become a seal which proves we are truly saved.
(唯獨被改變生命可以印證我們是真正得救的。)
